One of the many cool things about constellations work is that instead of thinking, talking, or even feeling our way through a problem or decision, we literally get to SEE the inner images we hold about it. Through the placement of people or objects, representing our inner or outer world, we immediately gain a new perspective on stuckness or repeating patterns. When things get laid out in plain sight, it's very hard to deny, minimise, or bypass what's standing right in front of you: For example: "Ah I see, my dad seems to be standing in front of my longing" "Oh look, my symptom wants to be next to my grandmother" People often report experiencing constellations as if it's some unfathomable magic... It's probably that it serves as a precise truth-telling intervention, more than most folk are used to on an average day, that makes it seem so. Such is our blind love and loyalty to historical family patterns, even when they're getting in the way of our desired state of health, freedom, expression, love, money, etc. we can't or won't budge. Or as Stephan Hausner highlights, we continue to love through the eyes of the struggle "Even if it costs me my life". Seeing the roots of this kind of blind love and stuckness is a great first step. Opening your eyes, heart and arms to the full beauty of your own life and it's unlimited potential is another. Another cool thing about the work: I get to go around with a Mary Poppins bag of felts, stones, and little wooden people, creating maps for those ready to see the fuller picture.
I also get to create those maps for myself, so I can sense how best to use my gifts, and how best to serve life next. #familyconstellations #systemicview #feelingstuck #mapmaking #thirdeye #clearseeing #marypoppins #service #virgoseason #heartandroots #blindlove
