Heart BAsed Business
We see heart based business as a conduit for putting people, communities, and nature back into right relationship with each other, and supporting the wellbeing of all living things, including the Earth herself.
This calls for a radically different and embodied way of weaving together human diversity, health, healing, collaboration, creativity, work and resources, with the needs of the planet. A relationship-oriented way that is not based on fear, domination of resources and profit for profit's sake.
Humans and human-systems can be complex, but they can also be remarkably simple when we tend to the right things. We all need to feel safe, to feel inspired, authentic and that we belong.
I have experienced first-hand over the last several years while offering wellbeing sessions in the workplace, things have been a bit, well - arse over tit. Wellbeing often gets blundered into a lunch hour, and the interconnected web of workplace dynamics that affects everybody play out at quite an unconscious level.
After guiding business wellbeing workshops over the years - stress management, resilience, mental health awareness (yep, with slides and stuff)- I can honestly say that's not the way to affect deep and relational change.
In fact, it's trite and boring.
Our nervous systems need something else to help them settle and then excel. They need humans, in and out of the workplace, to return to simple embodied practices. To speak with truth and courage. To move from the head into our feeling senses, where we can take in the whole, and lead from the heart.
If you are a leader, a creative or a change maker of any kind, and this resonates, I would be glad to explore how I can work with you 1-2-1 or in small coaching groups.

Satish Kumar is speaking here at the first global Wellbeing Summit for Social Change 2022. It brought together social change, governmental, arts and business leaders working at the intersection of social change and inner wellbeing.
He shares some mantra, and talks of peace, sharing our gifts and bringing a love revolution to our workplaces. Is it possible? Only if we believe it is.
